Telecom & SIP routing
Carrier-grade voice — SIP signalling, routing, fraud control, CDR pipelines and the operational tuning of edge proxies under load. The discipline I have spent the most production hours inside.
Ihab Hassan Mohamad Hamad is a Palestinian multidisciplinary engineer based in Ramallah and founder of Hiclass (hiclass.ps), a Palestinian telecom company. 17 years across VoIP, Laravel / PHP, Cisco networking, RF, FPGA, embedded, IoT and AI automation. Twelve certifications. Cisco ID CSCO12861095.
§ 01 — About
TL;DR · plain English
Ihab Hassan Mohamad Hamad (also written Ihab Hamad or إيهاب حسن محمد حمد) is a Palestinian engineer who builds across the full stack of modern technical work — from SIP signalling on a Kamailio proxy to a Laravel control plane, from a Cisco BGP table to a 433 MHz RF amplifier on a hand-laid PCB. He has been working professionally in IT, networking and telecom since March 2009.
His career began as an instructor at Universal Technical Institute (UTI) in Ramallah, where for three years he trained students for international certifications including ICDL, CompTIA Network+ and A+, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft MCSE and MCITP, MikroTik MTCNA, EC-Council CEH and BackTrack penetration testing. He then served for almost six years as IT Manager at Nour Alhuda Schools, running a Windows Server 2008 domain, a Linux-based Elastix VoIP server, biometric attendance systems, Cisco and MikroTik networks, and developing the institution's web platforms in PHP and CodeIgniter.
In 2018 Ihab Hamad founded his own Palestinian technology company, Hiclass (hiclass.ps) — specialised in telecom and VoIP services, virtual / premium numbers and shared-revenue voice and SMS solutions. Alongside Hiclass he is a founding member of Ween Co (ween.ps) and Ibal Co (ibal.ps). The line between hardware and software in his work has always been deliberately soft: a SIP routing problem and a 433 MHz transmitter problem are, for him, closer than they look.
He holds twelve professional certifications across Cisco (CCNP, CCDP, CCNA, CCDA — Cisco ID CSCO12861095), Microsoft (MCSE, MCITP, MCSA), CompTIA (Network+, A+), MikroTik (MTCNA), EC-Council (CEH) and the ICDL Foundation. He earned a Bachelor's degree (2004–2008) from Victorville International University and completed the Cisco Networking Academy at Al-Quds University.
§ 02 — Disciplines
Carrier-grade voice — SIP signalling, routing, fraud control, CDR pipelines and the operational tuning of edge proxies under load. The discipline I have spent the most production hours inside.
Web platforms in PHP and Laravel — multi-tier portals, billing, role-based access, real-time dashboards, internationalisation and clean deployment discipline. Earlier work in CodeIgniter, Vue.js and Node.js.
The ground floor — routing, switching, VLANs, QoS for voice, IPsec tunnels and the daily reality of running production Linux. Foundations laid by CCNP & CCDP and a long history of Debian operations.
Practical radio-frequency electronics — amplifiers, antennas, spectrum analysis with software-defined radios and bench instruments, radar modules and PCB design. Hands on the soldering iron, eyes on the analyzer.
Small-FPGA work for signal generation, custom encoding and frequency-hopping radio-link experiments. A serious side of digital design that complements analog work on the bench.
ESP32 and Arduino projects — Wi-Fi provisioning, GSM-triggered relays, OBD/CAN access through MCP2515 and small cloud-connected devices. The bridge between code and the physical world.
Whole-house automation built on Tuya and Zigbee — presence-driven lighting, environmental sensors for leak / gas / smoke, climate over IR, all orchestrated through Home Assistant and n8n.
LLM APIs and workflow tools to ship real automations — chat agents, retrieval-augmented support over structured Q&A, marketing generation and operational glue between systems.

Nour Alhuda Schools · Palestine
Led the entire IT operation — Windows Server 2008 domain, Windows Deployment Services, the Linux-based Elastix VoIP server, biometric attendance systems and bespoke internal tools. Managed Cisco and MikroTik network infrastructure end-to-end and developed the institution's web platforms in PHP and CodeIgniter.
Axizo Investment
Designed, managed and maintained network solutions for a portfolio of client companies — applying CCNP-grade routing & switching to real production sites.
Ween Co · ween.ps
Co-founded a Palestinian startup and built / operated its core network infrastructure, contributing to early technical decisions across the platform.
Ibal Co · ibal.ps · part-time
Founding member and IT lead — designing infrastructure, building internal systems and shaping the technical direction across the long arc of the company's growth.
Hiclass · hiclass.ps · Ramallah, Palestine
